A plain-English explanation of what this website records, why we record it, and how to have it removed.
Rolling Ads is a mobile digital advertising business running LED advertising vans across London and Hertfordshire. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us through this website.
For any question about your data, email sales@rolling-ads.co.uk or call 0208 953 3544.
Enquiry details. When you send a quote request or a partner enquiry, we collect what you type into the form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the zones and campaign details you choose, and any message you add.
Anonymous visit statistics. We record how many people visit the site, the page they arrive on, how long they stay and when they were last active. Each visit carries a random identifier that lives only in your browser, and it is not linked to your name, your email address or your IP address.
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, prepare a quote and deliver the campaign you asked about. We use the visit statistics only to understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing.
Enquiries are stored in a private area of this site that only the Rolling Ads team can open. The visit statistics are anonymous and visible only to us.
We keep enquiry details while we are quoting or working with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up repeat campaigns. If you would like yours deleted, email us and we will remove them.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser holds one small item for us: a random visit identifier in session storage, which clears when you close the tab.
Anything you add to the brand mockup tool — a logo, an image or a video — is processed entirely inside your own browser. Nothing you put in there is uploaded to us or stored on our servers.
Some of our campaigns carry a QR code. When someone scans one, our site records a scan event before sending them on to the destination page. That record holds the date and time, the rough device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), a coarse country where the network provides it, and a random daily hash that lets us estimate how many scans came from different people. A random daily hash is created by scrambling data we already receive and cannot be turned back into a person.
We never store names, email addresses, phone numbers or IP addresses from a scan, we do not follow anyone around other websites, and no account or login is needed to scan a code. Obvious automated traffic is excluded from the figures.
These scan statistics are used only to report campaign performance to the business that ran the campaign and to improve our own service. They are visible only to the Rolling Ads team and, where a campaign belongs to a client, to that client.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@rolling-ads.co.uk and we will action your request.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
